The two most important covenants referred to in the Bible are the Abrahamic covenant and the Kingdom covenant, both form crucial stages in the development of the restoration plan. The primary prophecy of the Bible at Genesis 3:15, predicted the chief rebel would strike God's chief advocate in the heel and that in turn the advocate would strike the rebel a head blow. These two covenants directly relate to the execution of these two blows.
These covenants run tandem,
one directly following the other and each remains in force for exactly
the same length of time, both being fixed term contracts. The death of
Jesus Christ in AD 33 not only split the 8,000 year reconciliation
plan for theocracy, it also divided these two covenants. On the day of Jesus'
death the Abrahamic covenant matured and ended; the new Kingdom covenant
commenced. As we shall see the lengths of time contracted from their inaugurations
until their maturity is exactly the same for both, 2,000
years
FIRST ABRAHAMIC PREPARATION CONTRACT
The Abrahamic covenant was primarily
a preparation contract leading to the promised 'seed'.
This in turn would facilitate the ability to draw up a
legally better contract. Having set the death date for the 'seed' at the
center point of the restoration plan, exactly half way through
the 8,000 year time period at 33 CE, makes it a matter of simple
calculations to set the Abrahamic preparation covenants start and
finish dates along with the following Kingdom covenants start and
finish dates.
Exactly on God's time cue at the first quarter point in the restoration plan, 2,000 years after it started, arrangements were being laid to set up the first contract. The man Abram, proved to be the best choice among the population living on the earth at that time. Having developed confidence and conviction in Yahweh's promises (Gen 3:15) he would have already been aware of a special lineage that had come through Noah.
Abram was born only two years after Noah died so his father Terah would certainly have been acquainted with Noah. Abram would also have been acquainted with Noah's God approved son Shem (Genesis 9:26) who died when Abraham was 150 years old. It may be that Melchizedek, referred to as a king priest of God, was in fact Noah's son Shem. Abram recognised the priestly credentials of Melchizedek who blessed Abram and interestingly offered him 'bread and wine' (Gen 14:18-20). Abram probably understood much about God's restoration plan being a theocrat himself.
Abram was presented with an
opportunity of working with Yahweh in the development of his plan. God contracted
with Abram that so long as he co-operated and carried out His instructions
in connection with this plan, He would make a great nation from him and
become his personal benefactor. He also informed Abram that because of
this agreement between them, all the nations would gain benefit from it
(Genesis 12:1-3). The plan necessitated a location move
on the part of Abram, so with his agreement, God instructed him to sell
up and leave his property in the Babylonian city of Ur, and taking his
family move west toward a land that God would guide him to (Acts
7:1-4). This was in the year 1991 BC when Abram was 62 years old.
God provided him his travelling
directions to Haran where thirteen years later his father
Terah died. Abram now 75 years old leaves Haran again under
God's directions and enters the land of Canaan which Yahweh
confirmed he would give to his offspring (Genesis 12:7).
At this time God told Abram "I shall make a great nation out
of you and I shall bless you and I will make your name great ...
all families of the earth will certainly bless themselves by means
of you .. Abram was 75 years old .. Yahwah appeared to Abram and said
"To your seed I am going to give this land" after that he built an
altar there to Yahweh." (Gen 12:2 - 8) The Abrahamic
Covent was started when Abram war 75 years old in the year 1968 BC.
This is why the seed when he eventually came was born and lived in Canaan.
Abram continued to put trust in God's promises; but by the time he reached the age of 85 and still had not had any children to receive God's inheritance promises. He somewhat understandably started to become anxious over the situation and questioned Yahweh about it. God reassured him that he definitely would have children and they would indeed inherit the land (Genesis 15:1-20, 16:1-3,16).
Although Abram tried to jump
the gun, reassurance was again confirmed to him when
he was 99 years old, in the year 1944 BC. In this year Sarah, his wife, for the first time at
the age of 90 miraculously became pregnant. It was now that
God validated the covenant already offered to Abram some 24 years
earlier when he was 75 years old, He now required Abram to get
circumcised. At the same time God changed his name from Abram (exalted
father) to Abraham (father of a multitude) further confirmation of
the covenant. At the age of 99 Abraham now validated his side
of the contract, under God's instruction he cut away the foreskin
of his penis, thus validating the passing of his seed through his
now circumcised penis to fertilise his wife. Sarah then became
pregnant and nine months
later give birth to the next
'seed' Isaac .
(Appendix 17 chronology of Abrahmic covenant)
This circumcision arrangement was sealed on God's side by causing this miraculous birth of the first descendant Isaac, by way of a seed of Abraham's delivered through his now circumcised penis; thus both became parties to this contract. All following male descendants through Isaac were to be circumcised thereby entering into the same contract conditions. This then validated the passing of Abraham's seed through his selected and identified line of descendants until it eventually arrived at the great seed Jesus Christ the one to bring the major promised benefits to all mankind (Genesis 17:1-27, Romans 4:19 and Acts 7:8).
God carried out his promises
to Abraham, making him prosperous and increasing
his offspring into a great nation giving them the land
of Canaan. This covenant continued in force for 2000 years,
throughout this time a direct chain was maintained linking
42 generations through circumcised fathers (Mat 1:17).
This unbroken chain eventually lead to Jesus Christ.
Abram 75 years Abraham 99 years The Contract |<------ 24 years ----->|<---------------- 1976 years------------->
The first individuals invited to become party to this contract were the 11 apostles on the day it was validated, Nisan the 14th of the year AD 33. Jesus officiated its inauguration between himself and these first 11 apostles a few hours before its validation stating: "This wine representing my blood validates the covenant which is to be dispensed out on behalf of many for the cancelling of Adamic sin, I will not drink anymore this symbolic wine until the day when I drink it again with you in the Kingdom" (Matthew 26:28-29).
Jesus followed the precise time
schedule set by his Father Yahwah for inaugurating
the contract on this specific day. He said he would drink
it with these 11 together with a further 143,989 contractors
when its term matured and the benefits of becoming Kings and
Priests in the Kingdom would be paid out to them
(Gal 3: 8, 14, 16 29 Rev 7 :4, & 14:1, 3 Rev 20 :4, 6).
According to the time frame, after a similar equal term of
2,000 years the Kingdom contract will mature in AD 2033, when
the number of the seed will be completed in number and the Kingdom
set up in the heavens. This administration will then bring about
the promised benefits to all mankind (Eph 1:10).
THE KINGDOM COVENANT The new Kingdom Contract The Kingdom |
The Kingdom covenant is an
'application' contract, it applies the benefits of
the sacrificed seed of (Genesis 3:15). These
benefits were gained when this seed was bruised in the heel,
when Jesus was killed, which will lead to a more severe head
blow or fatal strike being executed against the leading rebel
opposer.
The two contracts, the Abrahamic
and the Kingdom, both run for the same length of
time, 2,000 years each, and butt to one another at the
pivot date, Nisan the 14th of the year AD 33. The Abrahamic
covenant pivoting back from this 33 date, 2,000 years to 1968
BC. The other; the Kingdom contract, pivots forward from this
33 date, 2,000 years to 2033.
Chart 10:3 The two Covenants Pivot each side of the great pivot date AD 33 Start of the Maturity of the |
This remarkable balancing equation
starts to count off after 2,000 years into God's 8,000
year plan when the first quarter date 1968 BC arrived.
It is becoming clearer
just how amazingly symmetrically God has constructed the
entire time plan, all focusing on the sacrificial central pivot
date AD 33. The time divisions on the right hand side of this
chart mirror exactly the time divisions set in the left
hand side. The dates all pivot at this AD 33 central point, in
fact as we progress with further details within this plan a remarkable
symmetrically balancing design will be revealed. The care to details
with which the plan has been laid it out and executed, bears all
the hallmarks of God's authenticity.

GOD'S TWO EQUAL TIME TERM CONTRACTS
DEATH Of CHRIST | Start of Abrahamic | Kingdom 1,000 year |
|
This provides
two more pieces of the restoration time plan puzzle,
the 2000 year Abrahamic covenant period and the 2000 year
Kingdom covenant periods, fitting back to back.
We shall now examine a further critical time piece.
So why present himself at Jerusalem as king in what could obviously be misconstrued as sedition against the Romans? Jesus at his trial never denied he was a king, but neither did he explain fully the significance of his acts. Why? Because he was laying a contrived future time pattern which would identify when he would literally become King of all things, not back then in AD 33 but at some future time. He was in fact under God's supervision mapping for us a time map or template.
By the year AD 96, Jesus gave
his apostle John the Revelation information on things
that were still to take place. From this we know he had not
become king by the year 96 as the events in the Revelation, including
his coronation, were to take place in the future (Revelation
1:1, 4:1, 11:15, and 12:10).
The day after presenting himself as King and just three days before his execution, Jesus prophesied the complete destruction of the temple buildings in Jerusalem (Matthew 24:1-2). He informed his disciples that he would be leaving them, but would return and renew his association or presence with them through a special arrangement. The apostles even then realised they wouldn't be able to see him when he renewed his association with them. That is why they asked, "Tell us when these things will be, and what the 'sign' of your presence (parousia) and of the conclusion of the age (system)" (Matthew 24:3).
Having already told them that the Jewish age, centered in the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, was going to come to an end, they wanted to know what signs to look for, marking the end of this Jewish age or system that they were a part of. At Luke 21:20-24 Jesus said they would see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, a sign that the destruction of the temple and city was close, a warning that they should get out of the Jewish system before it was finally destroyed. When this happened, the Jewish age would come to its end.
As to their question 'What will
be the sign of your presence?', Jesus gave a very
curious, composite answer. He laid out a series of events
for their 'generation' as signs that would occur during his
continued association with them while completing affairs in connection
with the Kingdom scheduled during this period. At the same time
he also deliberately wove in additional events as signs that were
obviously outside of their 33 CE to 70 CE 'generation' time period.
These were to take place
in some future 'generation'. In Jesus answer he gave a list of
25 signs to watch for. Some of these signs his disciples did witness,
others they did not. We can list which sign events took place
back there and which did not.
|
|
The generation of apostles that Jesus
initially gave these signs to, saw at best, only 16 of
the 25 signs occurring by the year AD 70 when the Roman armies
destroyed the temple at Jerusalem. A portion of these signs,
at least 9, did not occur during this generation. Historical evidence indicates that this first century
generation saw a primary fulfilment of 16 of the signs during a
37 1/2 year period between the years AD 33 and 70.
Jesus faithfully kept his promise to renew his association (presence) with his disciples after his death. He made numerous attendance visits after his resurrection telling them toward the end of this 40 day period of visits, and shortly before he moved to the throne position of God "I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the (Jewish) system of things (age)," (Matthew 28:20 ). For them the Jewish system concluded in 70 CE.
This 'presence' of Jesus with
his apostles continued after his departure to heaven
in 33 CE, through the special operative power of the spirit,
first provided to them at Pentecost 33 CE. During the following
generation period Jesus continued his special association with
them as he had promised. During the next 37 years, 16 of the signs
were witnessed before this generation ended when the Jewish system
was destroyed by the Roman armies and Jesus special association ended.
Jesus warned his disciples
that his presence period with them would end when the Roman armies brought
the Jewish system to its end "When you catch sight
of the 'disgusting thing' that causes desolation as spoken
of by the prophet Daniel, standing in a holy place, then let
those in Judea flee to the mountains" (Matthew 24:15).
Jesus warning to flee
the 'disgusting thing' which would cause desolation's to
the temple would be a troubled
period for the disciples.
Using signs, Jesus was mapping out for his apostles a time template, covering this special period of his renewed presence with them, starting from his resurrection in 33 CE and continuing until the Jewish system was brought to its end in 70 CE.
It was all to be contained within
a 40 year generation period. The bible defines a generation
of time as starting at the age of 20 years and continuing
until the age of 60 years, so a specific bible generation spans
a period of 40 years (Numbers 14:29-33, 32:13 and
Lev 27:2-3) (Appendix 10).
Jesus confirmed these events would be contained within a 40
year generation period starting in AD 33, when he said: "This
generation will not pass away until all these things have
taken place" (Matthew 24:34). Jesus was underlining
that these events would be confined within a 40 year period.
History proves that they were!

The Generation period bookends The end of the Abrahamic covenant Start of the Maturity of the |
At the time Jesus mapped out events for the period of his renewed presence with his apostles, he also laid out clues for a further future 'generation' when he would yet again reactivate his association with selected disciples and also end in the destruction of a system or age. There remains a future generation that would not only see a repeat of the 16 signs witnessed in the first century, but also experience the 9 additional signs they had not.
This future generation would
see all 25 signs occur. Evidence in the Revelation
book supports this conclusion. The Revelation information
was deliberately withheld by Jesus until the year AD 96,
taking it outside the first century generation. This prevented
any confusion of the information it contained with the first
limited application of the signs during the thirty seven and a half
year period 33 to 70. Jesus waited a further 26 years after the
Jewish system had been destroyed before revealing the information in
the Revelation preventing any misunderstandings. John 21:20-24 gives
the account of how Jesus made this appointment to visit John in his
old age, to provide him with this new information, confirming the publication
of the Revelation information was intentionally delayed until the
first century generation period had ended.
In this delayed information,
future events scheduled to occur after AD 96 are described
with striking similarity to the signs Jesus gave which
did not occur in the first application (Nos 17-25 unseen
signs compare Revelation 1:7, 7:14, and 8:12). This
confirmed to discerning readers that the non occurring signs
would take place according to the Revelation in a second application
time, when Christ takes up rulership of the Kingdom (Revelation
1:5).
In the later application of this parallel time period the pattern of events should follow the smaller scale details of the first century. It too should be contained within a 40 year generation period, the opening event being the larger scale act of Jesus presenting himself as King at Jerusalem in 33 CE, his presentation as King at his true coronation, and likewise concluding with the end of a greater system.
According to the Great Jubilee
time plan the calculated year for the start of the Kingdom
rulership is AD 2033. According to the Revelation, following
this one generation later in 2070, the world religious system
will come to its end. The event corresponding to the earlier
template events of AD 70, when the Jewish system was brought to its
end by the Roman armies. Jesus set the thirty seven and a half year
'generation' time pattern by his presentation as King when he rode
up to Jerusalem's temple in AD 33, thirty seven and a half years
before the Jewish system ended.
Start of Reactivated Presence End of Presence PeriodAD 33 1st CENTURY AD70 After Jesus is crowned King Present world system ends 2033 22nd CENTURY 2070 _|_________________________________________________________________|_ | | |<----------- period of Jesus second renewed presence------------>| | | |<---------------------- 37 1/2 years --------------------------->| | | |<-----------contained within a 40 year generation period------------->
In the later parallel presence we can anticipate a repeat appearance of the 'disgusting thing' standing in the "holy place", this 'disgusting thing' is described in the Revelation at 17:3-8 as a scarlet coloured wild beast. Just as the first 'disgusting thing' proved to be the Roman army representing the Roman world power, so the internal scriptural evidence of Revelation chapter 17 indicates that the scarlet coloured wild beast will be the world power in this period of time.
This parallel period should likewise see a corresponding 'holy place', described in the Revelation at 17:5 as Babylon the Great. The first 'holy place' was the temple of Jerusalem representing the God abandoned Jewish religious system, although still claiming to be in a covenant relationship with him, was nevertheless destroyed in AD 70.
The scriptural evidence in Revelation chapter 17 indicates Babylon the Great will similarly be a God abandoned religious system of things that continues to claim to be in covenant relationship with God, and will likewise be destroyed at the end of the generation period at 2070 CE (Revelation 17:15-18, 18:8-10, 21-24).
During this later generation
time we can anticipate certain "discerning persons" heeding
the warning to flee, this "Babylon the Great" the later
parallel of the Jewish religious system which would likewise
be destroyed. Just as some informed individuals heeded the
warning and fled Jerusalem before it was destroyed. A similar
warning is given at Revelation 18:4 "Get out" of Babylon the Great
before it is destroyed. We have three remarkably similar future
events detailed in the Revelation which correspond to the situation
just prior to Jerusalem being destroyed in AD 70.
1. The God abandoned Jewish religious system still claiming covenant relationship with him, corresponding with Babylon the Great, the God abandoned Christian religious denominations still claiming covenant relationship with him.
2. The Roman world power described as the 'disgusting thing' that destroyed the God abandoned Jewish system, corresponding with the scarlet 'wild beast' of Revelation, the world power who would destroy the God abandoned system of Christendom, Babylon the Great.
3. The warning to Jesus' disciples
to 'flee' from Jerusalem when they saw the Roman armies
appear, to the corresponding warning given to 'Get Out'
of Babylon the Great when they see the wild beast first
attack.
A fuller discussion on
these three signs along with many more more parallel plotted time points of specific events during these
two time generations will be examined in the next section. We can now fit four further pieces of the time
puzzle picture together. The two contract time pieces and the two generation
time pieces.
