Chapter 4, A 50,000 year Great Jubilee cycle with 1,000 year Great Jubilee ‘day’, preceded by 1,000 year Great Sabbath 'day'.

It therefore follows that whenever there is evidence of God developing his project he would be following his predetermined plan, executing it down to the minutest of details. All calculated and set at the conception of the plan. The more examination, the more details can be observed to intermesh harmoniously. We should expect all calculations to dovetail perfectly together, reflecting the designer,s signature and hallmark of quality and craftsmanship.

At this advanced time in history we have the privilege as never before to study the latest intricate details of this interlocking plan. When the greatest intelligence in existence initiates an action; it is certainly not with the attitude "Well this is as good a time as any, the earthly circumstances appear to require it so I will 'fit' it in there". The originator and constructor of such amazingly organised complexity as found in the human DNA, would not have constructed his plan with any less care for meticulous detail.

With dvancements in scientific knowledge and the development of sophisticated scientific instruments, the marvel of the DNA is presently being studied and unravelled. Likewise great advances have been made in improving Bible study instruments for recovering more accurate information. Using these at the correct time; we can move forward again to further knowledge, and the next phase of the plan.

To establish accuracy and credibility all advances made in understanding the intricate details of this interlocking plan should harmonise; without any conflicting, contradicting parts, or ignoring things that do fit because of preconceived understandings. The more the plan is examined without bias, the more intricacies and detailed mechanisms revealed in it fit ingeniously together.

Until now investigations by serious students of the Bible in their efforts to retrieve information on this plan and its time table has lead to the finding of a few pieces of the giant jigsaw, but often forcing these pieces to fit together wrongly with disastrous results. As with any intricate jigsaw puzzle, when one or more pieces are wrongly forced to fit together, the rest of the puzzle becomes impossible to assemble and continuing becomes futile. On the other hand, when the first few pieces are fitted together correctly, piece by piece the rest fall, one after the other, into place.

Similarly with our puzzle we need to build the picture up from scratch. Taking apart or ignoring earlier attempts at assembling the puzzle with pieces wrongly forced to fit together. we can then start to assemble its pieces anew without using any pre conceived concepts. A picture then emerges that is truly amazing!

From the moment creation went off the rails through the independence rebellion, God's original plans broke down. Immediately His backup contingency plan for restoration swung into operation, incorporating a meticulous schedule for progressive stages of its development. The creator of this restoration plan has thoughtfully provided mankind with a time table covering the development of His plan as it affected each relevant generation, an encyclopaedia manual, the Bible. This manual provides details and preview information on the various stages of its development.

As this plan covers many thousands of years and hundreds of generations, the information needed to be revealed progressively and relevant to each generation as it developed. This is why the record of this information when written up spanned some 4,000 years and required over thirty writers dotted throughout this period to record it all in the Bible.

The more we advance through the time schedule of this plan the more information has been revealed on the subject. As we get closer to what is referred to as the time of the end the mere information will become available. One of the writers Daniel recorded this prediction "Make secret the words and seal up the book until the time of the end. Many will rove about and the true knowledge will become abundant" (Daniel 12:4). Provided we can establish we are in the 'time of the end' or close to it, we should be able to examine the relevant sections of the Bible manual and acquire further true knowledge on the progression (Cor 2:7,10).

Some six hundred years after the time of Daniel, another co-writer of his was directed to write in the last book of the encyclopaedia at Revelation 22:10: "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book for the time is near". New evidence confirms that the time has arrived for further examination of this contingency plan.

Within this plan are a series of pre-set time lengths. All major events incorporated within the contingency plan have been pre-set and locked in. Meticulously scheduled, not one of these events occurs randomly, all are carefully plotted, sometimes down to the minute. It is being systematically built up and developed over the thousands of years of human history and still on going. Some of the progressive building blocks within the plan have been: the Abrahamic Covenant, the Mosaic Covenant, the date of the death of the Messiah, the New Kingdom Covenant, a Kingdom recruiting period, the end of the Jewish System, the setting up of the Kingdom, the destruction of Babylon the Great, Armageddon, the 1000 year Reign of God's King and a Great Jubilee period.

In order to set out the time frame and see where we stand in it, we need a starting point. Information for a start date is provided in the second verse of the Bible; where the events of the first creative 'day' period are recorded, followed by information on five further days of creative activity. Once these six 'days' had been completed, the seventh day became a 'creative rest day' (Genesis 2:2). No further creative advances can take place until the seventh rest day period has run its course and all assignments planned within this rest period have been completed.

Originally this seventh period was set aside for the inhabitants of the Earth to complete two assignments given to them: one to fully populate the Earth and the other to cultivate it all. It was Man's turn now to do some work scheduled for completion within this seventh period. The first task is to ascertain how long this seventh creative rest day is. We know this allocated period of non creating, is referred to as a 'sabbath' or resting following the previous six days of creating, making in all a full 'creative week'. The Hebrew translation of 'day' is the word 'yohm' and can equally refer to an 'age' or 'period' of time. To illustrate this, after the six creative days Genesis 2:4 refers collectively to all six days and earlier periods as being 'one day', age or period. So just how long is this seventh creative period?

There is evidence that the creative rest period, was continuing some 4,000 years after it began. As already discussed in Chapter 1, the evidence for this comes from the apostle Paul's writings about the year AD 60, some 4,000 years after the seventh period started. He said, in Hebrews 4:1 "While there is remaining open a promise of entering into God's rest, take care you do not miss the opportunity.. those of us who have exercised faith can enter into this rest, on the other hand, God has said of some 'They shall not enter my rest' (the unbelieving rebellious Israelites of the exodus from Egypt). As God's creative work had finished with the creating of the world, (vs 3). God refers to the seventh day as follows: 'And God rested from all his works on the seventh day" (vs4). Referring to the same unbelieving Israelites of the Exodus, God said of these ones "They shall never enter my rest," (vs5). "This therefore implies that it remains open for some to enter it and those former ones who heard the good news first declared, (the exodus generation) failed to gain the opportunity to enter this rest through the refusal to believe (vs6). For if Joshua had provided them this special entry into the rest, God would not speak about another rest day to enter (vs8). So there still remains a seventh day sabbath rest, reserved for the people who serve God, (vs9). Those who can enter the rest, rest after their work, just as God did after his creative work," (vs10). Let us therefore make every effort to 'enter' that rest period, and not fail to through such disbelief as those others (those of the exodus) (vs11)" (Hebrews 4:1-11, compare Psalm 95:9-11).

The apostle clearly confirms that in his day the opportunity 'still' remained of 'entering' into the period of God's Sabbath day of rest. So some 4,000 years later this rest period was still in operation. But what does it mean, 'entering' into God's day of rest? The apostle in verse 11 said: "Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest period, and not fail through such disbelief as theirs and not enter into it." Does it mean, that to 'enter' into this 'rest' they had to die during the period of God's rest? This cannot be the case, for both the faithful and the unfaithful have died and verse 5 says the disobedient ones "Shall not enter into my rest" yet they also died! We are told the obedient ones needed to make a special effort to enter it, you do not need to make any special effort to die! So it must mean something more than just dying.

The Bible based hope that faithful servants of God looked forward to was a resurrection. It is not just dying, but after dying being classed in with the approved ones who are to receive a resurrection during the time of this same on-going Sabbath rest day period. This is what the expression 'entering into God's rest' means: that through faith they co-operated with God, proving themselves to be theocrats before they died. They then become entitled to an earlier resurrection, the resurrection described as the resurrection of the just.

This earlier resurrection takes place at a later point within this on-going rest period. The seventh rest day of God will still be continuing when these justified ones are resurrected. It can therefore be rightly said they rest in the sleep of death for a while, and are then resurrected back to active life at a time, still within the ongoing Sabbath rest period of God. They are thereby able to 'enter' into the activities planned for during the final part of this rest day period. Persons who were uncooperative, such as that generation of the exodus under Moses, will be denied this opportunity, 'they shall not enter into the rest' by not entering the privilege of an early resurrection on Earth during the period of this continuing seventh day. After their deaths they remain dead waiting until this rest period has ended and so are excluded from any activities during this last part of the seventh day period.

According to the evidence of other interrelated time prophecies that we shall be examining these ones the apostle is talking to in the first century, who he encourages to die faithful and then sleep in death, are programmed for a heavenly resurrection some 2,000 years later, yet this still occurs within this same ongoing seventh rest day period. These ones will be involved in productive activity, developing and working on all the scheduled projects allocated to be completed within this seventh rest day period. According to the book of Revelation, after these justified ones are resurrected the project will then take them a further 1,000 years to complete (Revelation 20:4). They will be assisted by further supporters of theocracy, individuals throughout human history who have died loyal to God. These other theocrats are also justified because of their pre death activities to receive an early resurrection within this continuing seventh day. The internal scriptural evidence supports the conclusion that the creation rest day lasts for a total period of 7,000 years.

According to Hebrews 4:1, the rebellious ones do not enter into the rest as they do not receive the opportunity of an early resurrection within the 7,000 year seventh day. So when do the disobedient or unrighteous ones get their resurrection? The Bible writer Paul tells us they definitely will get a resurrection at Acts 24:15, "I have a hope in God, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous", but not necessarily at the same time. Revelation 20:5 says: "The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended." This is the mass resurrection of mankind, spoken of at John 5:28, where he says: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those dead in the grave will hear his voice, (vs29) and come out, those..who have done wrong to a resurrection of Judgement". There are two separate and distinct resurrections, (1 Cor 15:22-24).

These proven loyal theocrats receive a resurrection some 1,000 years before those of the general mass resurrection with in the last 1,000 years of the on going rest period. The later second category of resurrected ones will not be judged according to their rebellious actions before they died. Their previous actions merely separate them into which class of resurrection they would receive. Their previously committed wrong acts will already have been wiped out, they will have been acquitted of their crimes and misdemeanours because they will have paid the penalty for them, 'death'. The book of Romans confirms this when it says; once a person dies he has been 'acquitted' from his sin (Romans 6:7).

When any person undergoes the punitive sentence of death, he or she no longer has to answer for the earlier sins they committed or inherited, as their death is the full punishment for these, they cannot be made to pay for the same sins twice. If it was not for the God designed resurrection mechanisam they would remain dead. Accordingly, all these resurrected ones who come back in the later resurrection to judgement after the rest period is over, having failed wilfully or through ignorance to show belief or support for God's plans, can only be judged on what they do from the time they are resurrected. Their actions during this time will provide the basis upon which they are judged.

As the Sabbath creative day of rest is 7,000 years long, then it follows that the previous six creative days must also each be 7,000 years long. The entire creative week including the continuing final Sabbath rest day would amount to seven times seven thousand years, a total of 49,000 years.

Many of these time calculations are not new, they were understood by earlier refining bible researchers, men like Newton, Darby, Miller and Russell among many others (See Appendix 2 - 7) although they tended to miss the separation of the different resurrections by time, being either inside or outside of the seventh day period. The creative week time table is set within a 49,000 year time frame, with the restoring contingency plan running during the last 7,000 years of it. This calculation provides us an all important 7,000 year time passage to explore further. It also provides us with the first seven time pieces of our puzzle. The picture starts to appear.

Our next step in laying out the overall time frame for the contingency plan takes in an examination of the Jubilee time pattern as set out in the Bible encyclopaedia. Recorded within the ancient Israelite time calculations, God had directed the setting up of a special Jubilee year arrangement. This was a unique year that came round once every 50 years. Most Israelites would experience one Jubilee in their lifetime. It was a year set aside for redressing all issues of civil and personal liberties: a year when liberty and equality was restored by the redressing of legal matters and setting things straight.

The name 'Jubilee' means sounding the ram's horn. A ram's horn was blown half way through the 50th year to proclaim this liberty redressing process; it was to take place throughout their entire country and affected everybody living in it. In Leviticus chapter 25 the details of the Jubilee schedule given to the nation through Moses after they had left Egypt was laid out.

From verse 2 it says: ("The land must observe a Sabbath (year) to God. Six years sow your field six years prune your vineyards..(vs3) in the seventh year there should be a Sabbath (year) of complete rest for the land.. you must not sow your field or prune your vineyard (vs4). You must count off seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, so the period of the seven weeks of years will amount to forty nine years" (vs8). "You must cause the loud horn to sound, on the 10th day of the 7th month (c28th September), the day of atonement, (vs9) and you must set aside the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It will be a Jubilee for you, and you must return each one to his possession and you should return each one to his family" (vs10).

"In this Jubilee year all of you will be returned your own property (vs13). When you buy..from one another (vs14) you shall pay only for the years until the next Jubilee. The seller shall charge only for the remaining years (vs15), for it is only this number of years remaining that can be sold (vs16). If you should ask, what should we eat if we do not sow? (vs20). In the sixth year (the 48th the in the cycle) I will cause three years of crops in one (vs21) to carry you over until your ninth year crop" (vs22) (the 51st year of the cycle). "In case your brother grows poor and has to sell some of his property, he or his relatives have the right to redeem it whenever possible (vs25); the redemption price shall be calculated according to the years remaining until the next Jubilee (vs27); if he cannot afford to recover it, it shall remain with the purchaser until the Jubilee year when the property must be released and returned (vs28). In case your brother grows poor and he has to sell his labour, they should not become slaves (vs39). He should be treated like a hired labourer. He should serve you till the next Jubilee year comes round (vs40). Then he must be freed and returned to his family and to their ancestral property" (vs41).

The basis for calculating to the 50th Jubilee year was the seven year cycles. For six years the Israelites carried out their normal annual farming rotation, planting and sowing in spring and gathering the harvests in the autumn. This continued until the seventh year, which became a land rest year; there was to be no planting or sowing in the spring of the seventh year and therefore no harvesting in that year. The land would enjoy a rest, a Sabbath.

This 50th year Jubilee, was an entire year for the liberation of people and restoration of property. All the inhabitants throughout the land would be able to have a fresh new start. All who had sold themselves into bonded service for a fee were released from their service contracts. All hereditary land possessions that had been leased off since the passing of the previous Jubilee were returned to their owners. There was to be no polarisation of wealth in this nation. All sold, contracted, rented or leased things were returned to their original owners. Because of this, all sales involving hereditary possessions or work contracts were calculated according to their worth in strict regard to the years remaining until the next Jubilee come round: the more years remaining, the greater the selling price up to a maximum valuation of 49 years. All things were reinstated to their original condition.

A future time was promised when mankind would be set free from enslavement to the decaying and ageing process that leads us all to eventual death. In Isaiah 65:17 this promise is elaborated upon: "I am creating a new heavens and a new earth (vs22); they will not build and someone else have occupancy, they will not plant and someone else do the eating". A time would come when the earth would be renewed, and mankind would regain his lost inheritance to a home with a happy and healthy life supporting environment. Jesus quoted from the scroll of Isaiah Chapter 61, referring back to some of the conditions associated with the Jubilee he said: "Jehovah's spirit is upon me, because he anointed me to declare good news to the poor, he sent me forth to preach a release to the captives..to send the crushed ones away with a release, to preach Jehovah's acceptable year" (Luke 4:18-19).

In Revelation chapter 20:4-7 we are informed that when the 1,000 year rulership of Jesus Christ with those kings and priests of the first resurrection comes to an end, then records are examined, judgements are made and all things are set straight (vs 12). As with the model Jubilee, it will be a time for taking out the old contracts, examining the position with regard to inheritance rights, sorting out the situation, redressing legal entitlements, and re-establishing a legally approved situation. Those who are entitled to repossess their lost earthly inheritances would do so.

When is this Greater Jubilee scheduled? Examining God's scale version of the Israelite Jubilee cycle as a model outline of a far greater Jubilee Cycle. In Israel, after every 49th Sabbath year, there followed the 50th Jubilee Sabbath year, completing the 50 year cycle. As each creative day period was 7,000 years long, each of these creative days made up of a week of seven 1,000 year days (2 Peter 3:8: Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6). Therefore seven of these 7,000 year weekly cycles (creative days) would cover 49,000 years (chart 7:2).

Putting it another way, the Great Jubilee cycle is made up of seven weekly cycles. Each cycle made up of seven 'days', each 1,000 years long together they make up a 7,000 year 'week'. Seven of these 7,000 year 'weeks' covers a period of 49,000 years. God's Great Jubilee year would be the 50th, 1,000 year day, from the 49,000th year to 50,000th year. This 50th, 1,000 year Jubilee would follow a preceding 1,000 year Sabbath. The system of cumulative Israelite sabbath year cycles orchestrated by God was merely a scaled model version of the greater real thing (compare chart 7:2 and chart 7:3).

Each 50th Jubilee year in the Jewish arrangement was preceded by a 49th Sabbath year. The law did not permit the Jews to sow seed in that 49th Sabbath year, nor in the following 50th Jubilee year. To compensate for this loss of two years' harvest and to prevent starvation occurring as a result of keeping these laws, God promised to step in with a miraculous provision. At Leviticus 25:21, He confirmed: "I shall command my blessing for you in the sixth year (of the 48th year of the 7th Sabbath cycle of years) and it will yield its crop for three years". This required confidence in God's promise, and probably explains why the Israelites failed so miserably to keep these laws, suffering the consequences (see chart 7:4). This scale model set the pattern for God's Great Jubilee cycle. It is of great significance that in the Greater Jubilee cycle, the final 1,000 year Jubilee is also proceeded by a 1,000 year Sabbath, as patterned in the small scale Jewish Jubilee cycle.

1000 YEAR GREAT JUBILEE PRECEDED BY A 1000 YEAR GREAT SABBATH

The greater 1,000 year Sabbath directly proceeding the Great 1,000 year Jubilee, is the period referred to in the Bible at Matthew 12:8 when Jesus refers to himself: "For the Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath". Jesus confirms that he will rule as Lord over this 1,000 year Sabbath in Revelation 19:16 where he is identified as having "A name written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords". After the King takes up Kingship power, Revelation 20:6 states the length of time that this Lord of Lords rules the Sabbath period for, saying: "And will reign with him (Jesus) for the thousand years".

When this 1,000 year Sabbath reign of this Lord of Lords comes to its end he will have completed his term of lordship of the Sabbath 1,000 year day. He will then hand over to God for the next 1,000 year period, the Great Jubilee. In 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 it says about the Son's future activities: "Next after its accomplished (end) when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and authority and power. For he must rule as King until God has put all enemies under his feet. But when all things will have been subject to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him that God may be all things to everyone".

The 50 year Jubilee cycle, as laid down for the nation of Israel, was a precise scale model which, when accurately scaled up, illustrates the greater Jubilee restoration time plan. Applying this scale model time cycle, it is possible to plot the overall running time for this plan to restore all things to God's approved standards.

With this information, the starting point of the Great Jubilee cycle can be set at the beginning of the first day period of creation, ending some 50,000 years later with the finish of the Great 1,000 year Jubilee. Setting the start and finish points, it is now possible to position a couple of other dates within this time frame; one the start of the King's 1,000 year reign commencing 48,000 years into the Jubilee Cycle, the other, the start date of God's Great 1,000 year Jubilee, which comes after 49,000 years into the cycle.

THE CONTINGENCY RESTORATION PLAN

The Bible refers to this plan as the 'sacred secret' or 'mystery' of God ( Ephesians 1:9-11). It is referred to as a mystery because throughout the generations of history God has only selectively revealed it piece by piece as the various generations and stages of the plan became due at their allocated time cues. It was revealed on a 'need to know' basis. This plan has been unfolding step by step as time progressed through the past 6,000 years of human history and has now arrived at a time where further important stages in this 8,000 year restoration plan are to be revealed.

We can add these further two pieces in the great jigsaw puzzle, the Great 1,000 year Jubilee and the 1,000 year reign of God's king to our seven creative day pieces. We now have nine interlocking time pieces laid out in the puzzle. These nine key pieces provide and set the overall time frame, the edge pieces of the puzzle. Many jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts will tell you that assembling the border of any jigsaw puzzle correctly is the first step to building the complete picture. With our boundary time pieces in place, we can now start to fill in other pieces inside this framework. The next piece to identify and fit into place is probably the most important center piece of the whole puzzle!
